They are similar to traditional pole tents in that they have a set of poles that are held upright by tensioning a top over the poles and securing it to the ground with ratchets, ropes and stakes.  As with traditional rope & pole tents, Century high peak tents are usually placed on grass, but can also be raised on concrete or asphalt.

However, Century high peak tents differ from traditional rope & pole tents in that they have a more glamorous appearance with elegant peaks, fine sweeping lines, and a more spacious interior.  This makes them particularly well suited rentals for high-end parties, weddings and special events.
